The Book Awards have attracted thousands of votes since they were first announced in 2008. These awards are voted for by ordinary readers, not a closed panel, and so are truly open to any author who has a body of satisfied customers willing to support their nomination.

The Book Awards are unique in offering an opportunity for unknown writers, best sellers and the many in between, to compete against each other 'fair and square' for the highest number of votes each month.
